Staff is very polite and helpful. The St. Augustine Palmetto sod was in excellent condition. Delivery driver was very skilled with the forklift.

My St Augustine grass (placed on Deltas premium recommended soil) looked okay at first and started to show brown spots early on. As a first time sod purchaser I continued following their instructions as far as watering. Winter came and some more brown areas appeared. I figured the grass was dormant. Now that it’s spring, a third of the grass is dead. A lawn guy told me it was brown patch fungus. When I told him when the brown spots started to appear, he told me the sod likely came diseased. Getting Delta to take this seriously is an impossible task. A manager would call me but never did. My calls were ignored (because of ‘meetings’ and emergencies I later learned) . In a text message from the manager I was told that the best they could do is recommend a horticulturist. I know it’s been 10 months but I have photos of brown spots very early on. I provided these to them on their website. Not a word from Delta. You would think that a sod company would be interested in seeing how their grass product (under) performs. I’m totally disappointed in Delta Sod. Find another company.

Totally pleased with Delta Sod, from first call, the ordering process and delivery was first class, very happy with my newly installed St Augustine sod, I would highly recommend Delta Sod. Only issue I have was when I asked the delivery guy if the pallet of sod would smash my front lawn much, he stated, not to bad, which it hardly noticeable, but the three deep ruts I have from the fork lift is a different story, had I known, I could’ve easily let him keep the fork lift on the street and set only the pallet on the grass, to me, he should know what those three tires would do to my front lawn, where I put the new sod over the swimming pool area is beautiful but now I have to repair my front yard of the three deep ruts.
